When Delizza teamed up with the renowned Ghirardelli to create their Double Chocolate Mini Eclairs, they needed new packaging to signal to customers that this product was special. I came up with the idea to use Ghirardelli’s signature blue as a background to distinguish the eclairs from Delizza’s other products, which were typically shown on white. This simple color cue identified the product as more premium, and was then carried into other applications to support the product’s launch.
